Proper and consistent body position gives the golfer the best chance for solid contact from the start.  Developing proper body alignment and positioning takes a lot of practice, but the results are well worth the extra effort.

alignment rods

A good way to improve your body position is to consistently practice with alignment clubs or rods on the ground, one for the body another for the ball or target line. First aim the club/rod at your intended target. Second set the body line club parallel to the target line. The key is to get your feet, knees, hips, shoulders and arms parallel to the alignment club, this puts your body in a great position for a solid strike.

Always practice with alignment sticks, rods, clubs on the ground to keep your body in proper position and you’ll be striking the ball with more success than ever before.
